Not necessarily.
"Debian developer" may mean either "Debian contributor" or "official
Debian Developer" (a.k.a. contributor _and_ member of Debian).
So name of module is adequate IMO - even if expanding to offer multiple
facets of the meaning of that and related terms.

That query would provide "is official Debian Developer" a.k.a. "is
member of Debian".
In the past, the exclusive interpretation was common (you are not really
developing for Debian unless you are officially a member of the
organization), but in recent times this has shifted to emphasize the
broader interpretation and decoupling "membership of the political body"
from "doing active work".
But sure, you can include that LDAP extract as _one_ flavor of the
answer, but I recommend you to use some scraping of the website I
proposed as default flavor.
