Subject: t/metamark.t now fails due to http://metamark.net/ no longer creating new links
Hi, t/metamark.t now fails due to http://metamark.net/ no longer creating new links: "Please note: Adding new links has been disabled since September 2014 after 14 months notice. More than a decade of this has been enough and there are plenty good services of this kind around now (and honestly much less need, email-, irc- and what have you clients all support long URLs just fine now). The existing short links will continue to work for as long as we can keep the site running with a reasonable amount of effort." WWW-Shorten-3.05.tar.gz perl v5.16.3 uname -a 3.14.17-8.42.amzn1.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Aug 14 21:54:22 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Cheers, Dave

Oh, that's annoying. Thanks for letting me know. I'll get a new version of the package on CPAN as soon as I can. Cheers, Dave...

This one can be closed now as metamark is marked as 'dead' in version 3.06.
As was mentioned earlier in the ticket, Metamark has been deprecated. Thanks, Chase
