There is no separate public repository; it's part of Perl 5 (under dist/base) and the repo is at http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git . Do you suggest this should be added to the META file? or just to the pod?

A patch is needed against the Makefile.PL in perl5.git's dist/base -- rjbs
