This was resolved some time back. Within "instruction sets" designed to work on Amazon EC2, there is a generous use of sudo - but this code cannot be successfully used without a LOT of setup on the part of Amazon users. A user would know they are using elevated privileges, and it is assumed they will know to retire that access once the job is completed.
