Subject: Feature request: Add plural abbreviations hrs, mins, secs
Date: Fri, 4 Jul 2014 14:17:50 -0600
To: bug-Date-Manip [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Glenn Golden <gdg [...] zplane.com>
Hello, If it's not a parsing or semantic conflict somewhere, would like to suggest that the plural unit abbrevations 'hrs', 'mins', and 'secs', be permitted for specifying deltas. Thanks! Glenn
It's odd that they weren't all there... not sure how they got overlooked. 'hrs' was already there, but 'mins' and 'secs' were not. They'll be in the next release.

Thanks! Btw, the man page accompanying Delta.pm version 6.45 does not list "hrs" in the list of valid English abbreviations: y: y, yr, year, years m: m, mon, month, months w: w, wk, ws, wks, week, weeks d: d, day, days h: h, hr, hour, hours mn: mn, min, minute, minutes s: s, sec, second, seconds which is why I had included it with the other two. It is indeed accepted by the code as you say (verified here with 6.45) but just not in the man page. Thanks again, Glenn
