Subject: [PATCH] fix Latin1 characters in POD, declare encoding
In Debian we are currently applying the attached patch to Curses. We thought you might be interested in it too. Description: fix Latin1 characters in POD, declare encoding =encoding is needed or 'pod2man --errors=pod' complains otherwise . Also fixes the special characters to be valid Latin1 Thanks for considering, Damyan Ivanov, Debian Perl Group
Here's the patch.

Message body is not shown because sender requested not to inline it.

The patch won't apply because the existing Curses.pm in my library does not match the "original" text in the patch. For the first modification, the patch expects to modify 0xC281C383 to 0xC383, but the original file contains 0x81C3. The other modifications are similar. I don't know what any of those bytes mean, so I don't have any insight into where they might have been changed.
