I am currently going through the complete docs (and founds some bugs in Pod). I am *very* interested in doc improvements. Would you care to run through the version I currently have on git? I am *not* a native English speaker, so errors are easy to make Show quoted text

Me neither, and in this case it was lintian (a Debian package checking tools which also has a list of common spelling mistakes and, AFAIK, only this grammar/wording problem) which detected this issue. And it was all it found, otherwise I would have reported more :) I doubt I can be a big help with my limited en_AT knowledge but I'm happy to forward anything that either Debian users or lintian detect in the future. Another option might be to contact debian-l10n-english@lists.debian.org: https://lists.debian.org/debian-l10n-english/ That's where the experts for English in Debian sit; not sure if they have resources to checks CPAN docs but who knows. Or you could ask on the Debian Perl Group's mailing list (debian-perl@lists.debian.org) if one of the native English speakers might be willing to go through the POD; after all they might also be users of Text-CSV_XS :) Hope that helps, gregor -- .''`. http://linux.about.com/cs/linux101/g/lintian.htm tells me it checks Debian packages, so the checker for the grammar and spelling is just part of it. Can you tell me what is used for the spelling/grammar checks, so I can integrate that into my default test suite? I already check with ispell, aspell, and common mistakes Show quoted text

Correct. Show quoted text

AFAIK it's just a static list of common mistakes. The git repo is at: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=lintian/lintian.git And the data for the spelling checks is the data/spelling/ directory: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=lintian/lintian.git;a=tree;f=data/spelling;hb=HEAD Show quoted text

In this case you are checking for more already :) Cheers, gregor -- .''`.
