Subject: Supplying port as an option to new doesn't work as documented
The documentation states that one may override the port number used for connection via a port option provided to new. This does not work (the default port is used instead). The documentation also states that one may append the port to the hostname, and this does work. Please remove the port option to new from the documentation or implement it in the code. Thanks, Rob
Obviously, I never tested it. :/ If you have suggested patches, please post them here as pull requests: https://github.com/jettero/net--smtp--oneliner Or if that's not convenient, maybe post patches on this ticket? Otherwise, if you don't have specific fixes in mind, I'll try to get to it this weekend. Thanks for the bug report! -Paul -- If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. 116 jumps, 48.6 minutes of freefall, 92.9 freefall miles.
Just noticed I put a totally wrong github url in the last reply. This is the right one. https://github.com/jettero/net--imap--simple -- If riding in an airplane is flying, then riding in a boat is swimming. 116 jumps, 48.6 minutes of freefall, 92.9 freefall miles.
