Bug #9544 for XML-RSS: pb for conversion

pb for conversion

I am using a RSS file generated by someone who use this function I a some trouble using the RSS file with SPIP. an friend of me gave me the explaination. If you can tell me what could be done.. the RSS says it is in " utf-8" .But in fact, it is not exactlly the case : for exemple ô is coded by #F4 but only in one byte. the correct representation complète in unicode is #00F4 (2 bytes). and convertef in utf-8, it will be (hex on 2 bytes) #C3B4. rules : unicode-> utf-8 for value between #0080 and #0FFF : (unicode) 00000yyy yyxxxxxx -> (utf-8) 110yyyyy 10xxxxxx for more information : http://disc.server.com/discussion.cgi?id=1;article=37716;show_parent=1 Thanks a lot
