Thanks for your report. There are in fact two issues: 1/ Portable fails some tests if it runs on strawberry portable where Portab le is already installed (I should probably detect such a situation and skip these tests) 2/ Now it only works on MS Windows as there where were some troubles related to co-existance of Portable + File::Spec from the 5.19.9 (or later). I was not able to track down the real cause of the trouble, I have simply created Portable::FileSpec which is in fact a hardcopy of File::Spec::Win32 - this is definitely the reason why it is red on all non Windows platform. My main focus is to keep Portalble working with strawberry perl. But I am open to any suggestions/patches. -- kmx
