Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2014 21:07:01 +0200
To: bug-gnome2-gconf [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Florian Schlichting <fsfs [...] debian.org>
In Debian we are currently applying the attached patch to Gnome2-GConf. We thought you might be interested in it, too. Description: enable creation of meaningful whatis entries http://lintian.debian.org/tags/manpage-has-useless-whatis-entry.html Author: Ryan Niebur <ryan@debian.org> Thanks in advance, Florian Schlichting, Debian Perl Group

Thanks for the patch! But the Gnome2::GConf git repository was archived due to inactivity, and it is likely that there will not be a new release any time soon. I'm thus marking this as "stalled"; if we revive Gnome2::GConf, we can incorporate your patch.
We were able to get the Git repo unarchived, so I've applied this patch, the fix will show up in the next release. Do you need this ticket open, or can we close it?
