In Debian we are currently applying the attached patch to Net-FreeDB.
We thought you might be interested in it, too.
Description: Don't run tests that need internet access (or a physical CD-Rom) unless HAVE_INTERNET is set
Origin: vendor
Bug-Debian: http://bugs.debian.org/625840
Author: gregor herrmann <gregoa@debian.org>
Last-Update: 2011-05-09
The reason this patch was written is that the Debian autobuilders, which build
packages for all the different architectures in Debian, do not have working
Internet in their build environment for security reasons, making the tests -
and thus the package build - fail.
Thanks in advance,
