Subject: Please enable the use of an existing logger like Log4perl
Using Log::Any instead of Log::Dispatch looks like the preferrable solution to me.

Hi, Sorry but the Logging stuff in this module is quite involved so it would be a lot of work for me to change :( In any case, I believe the system is designed so you can still pass a different configuration to get the logs directed to another target, you just need to do that in Log::Dispatch config format rather than something else such as Log4Perl.
