Subject: cpansmoke invalid method type
I am unable to use the cpansmoke utility, although cpanp works fine. I get the following message which seems to occur irregardless of options or the module being tested: [ERROR] Invalid method type: '_get_ftp' Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at C:\Perl\bin\cpansmoke line 105.

I'm assuming you installed an old cpanplus, then upgraded to the beta release... as you may notice, in the beta release, ther'es no cpansmoke binary, and unfortunately, the API's have changed, so this failure is unavoidable. With the release of 0.51, there'll also be a CPANPLUS:: Smoke module (or something along those lines) that will offer you the replacement cpansmoke.
