Not really a surprise as AppleScript issues with Mavericks isn't anything new, however, when I tried using the Mac::AppleScript module I get the following errors:
2014-03-01 15:01:13.181 perl5.16[46279:1107] Error loading /Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types: dlopen(/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Unit Types: no matching architecture in universal wrapper
perl: OpenScripting.framework - scripting addition "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/Adobe Unit Types.osax" declares no loadable handlers.
2014-03-01 15:01:13.185 perl5.16[46279:1107] Error loading /Library/ScriptingAdditions/SpecialFunctions.osax/Contents/MacOS/SpecialFunctions: dlopen(/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SpecialFunctions.osax/Contents/MacOS/SpecialFunctions, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SpecialFunctions.osax/Contents/MacOS/SpecialFunctions: no matching architecture in universal wrapper
perl: OpenScripting.framework - scripting addition "/Library/ScriptingAdditions/SpecialFunctions.osax" declares no loadable handlers.
I've looked around for a workaround but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people using Perl on a Mac. Any help would be appreciated as I use Perl to pole temperature sensors around my house and Mac::AppleScript to report the findings to a home automation program.
Thanks for your consideration.
