I've been using a patched version of Authen::Radius for the last two
years that supports RFC 5997 Status-Server requests, and just today I
patched it again to support IPv6 (RFC 3162) and 64-bit integer (sort of
RFC 6929) attribute types. I'd like to pass these enhancements back for
consideration in future versions of Authen::Radius.
With respect to RFC 6929, I departed from the standard by including
support for signed as well as unsigned integers. Since the term
"integer" is ambiguous in this respect, I included the explicit types
unsigned32, signed32, unsigned64, and signed64, which is the convention
used by Alcatel-Lucent's 8950 AAA.
The attached patches apply to Authen-Radius 0.22; first the
Status-Server patch, then the IPv6 + 64-bit patch.
