Thanks. I have gotten passing test reports for windows (I'm sure I tested it on my vm before releasing), but previously didn't pinpoint why I started getting these weird path errors on some machines. For some reason it didn't occur to me that it might be a *newer* Module::Metadata rather than an older one, so I think I've identified the issue. Unfortunately the fix that I'd like to apply requires a feature of MM that's currently broken (https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=92640) so I'll have to think about this a bit.
