Distribution: SQL-Translator-0.11018
Perl: 5.16.2 on OS X 10.9.1
Problem: Transact-SQL comments cause the Sybase parser to error out.
Test case attached from the FCC’s Universal Licensing System - the full schema is at <http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls/ebf/pa_ddef48.txt>.
Input:
sqlt -f Sybase -t PostgreSQL sybase-tsql-comments-test.sql
Output received:
ERROR (line 1): Invalid statement: Was expecting create table, or
create procedure, or create index, or create
constraint, or comment, or use, or setuser, or if, or
print, or grant, or exec
Deleting the /* comment */ produces the expected result.
