Subject: tarball uploaded to a subdir
I don't know how you accomplished this, considering you seem to use Dist::Zilla, but the last upload landed as: authors/id/S/SC/SCHWIGON/class-methodmaker/Class-MethodMaker-2.19.tar.gz

Class::MethodMaker doesn't use dzil, it's in maintenance mode only. So there I use my manual approach using subdirs like when I started on CPAN 10 years ago. The bug is rather that the last 2.18 release didn't went into a subdir. Do you want me to fix something? This is very non-standard, and makes PAUSE have to work harder to figure out what your distribution name is. It also may be explicity disallowed in the future.

Hm, it is an explicitely advertised feature in the PAUSE upload page. I would assume that thousands of distros are organized this way. Or I misunderstand what you mean... Kind regards, Steffen -- Steffen Schwigon <ss5@renormalist.net> Dresden Perl Mongers <http://dresden-pm.org/>
I'll look into this more. Other dists certainly do it, but it's not as nice to handle on the toolchain end. for now, carry on, I suppose... :)
