When I let tar extract Statistics-R-0.32, I get complaints like:
Statistics-R-0.32/
Statistics-R-0.32/MYMETA.json
/bin/tar: Statistics-R-0.32/MYMETA.json: time stamp 2013-12-18 12:51:09 is 67004.446740262 s in the future
Statistics-R-0.32/Changes
/bin/tar: Statistics-R-0.32/Changes: time stamp 2013-12-18 12:36:23 is 66118.44647498 s in the future
and so on. And later:
Your installer Makefile.PL has a modification time in the future (1387363459 > 1387300464).
This is known to create infinite loops in make.
Please correct this, then run Makefile.PL again.
Would it be possible to avoid this in the future? Which timezone are you in? Is your time service working correctly? Am I missing something?
Thanks,
