1. 'defined' vmethod isn't working on array & hash references. Or may be that behaviour on such objects is a feature ?
2. Package where standards filters is defined doesn't include 'use locale' pragma. Is there any technical reasons not to do so ? Sure it's easy to redefine any filter in your own module, but...
