There is no mention of other distributions that provide tempfile/tempdir functionality in a SEE ALSO section, which is essential for prospective users to be able to evaluate their choices and choose accordingly.
Most notably, File::Temp is not mentioned, which is a core module.
(Indeed the code in this distribution could be shorter if it was built atop File::Temp, rather than seeking to reimplement it, including replicating bugs that have already been identified and fixed in the original.)
