Subject: test failures
Attached is the log with the test failures when I try to install. This is on my Mac OS X 10.8.5 box with perl 5.18.1. If there is any further info about my environment that you need or would like me to test under different circumstances, let me know.

What version of libmagic do you have?

libmagic 5.15 and I believe tests failed with 5.14 also. libmagic was installed with macports on my system.

Doh, I never responded. Doing some research online suggests that this might be related to your locale setting. Try setting the locale to C. To use this module in production code you might have to make a call to POSIX::setlocale() before each use. I think this may be fixed in newer versions of the file/libmagic code.
