Subject: Configure on 5.6 uses sort +N, which isn't supported by modern sort(1)
Date: Sun, 20 Oct 2013 16:04:35 +0200
To: bug-Devel-PatchPerl [...] rt.cpan.org
From: ilmari [...] ilmari.org (Dagfinn Ilmari Mannsåker)
The two instances of 'sort -n +1' in Configure on perl 5.6 need to be replaced with the portable equivalent used since perl 5.7.3: ($sort -n -k 2 2>/dev/null || $sort -n +1) This works on both old and new sorts. -- "I use RMS as a guide in the same way that a boat captain would use a lighthouse. It's good to know where it is, but you generally don't want to find yourself in the same spot." - Tollef Fog Heen
This is fixed in version 1.14 Many thanks.
