Subject: MBT should probably be EUMM only, instead of self-hosting
It has a *very* wide configure_requires depchain, and the current state of affairs leads to code like this: https://github.com/dbsrgits/dbix-class/blob/master/maint/travis-ci_scripts/30_before_script.bash#L109

I can understand its annoying for your kind of setup, but the testing value of using it for actual deployment is too big to give up for a little convenience on legacy setups. Sorry but I have to reject this request. Leon

Yep, as per IRC conversation I have no problem with that line of reasoning. Perhaps way down the road when MBT is "feature complete" this could be revisited. Cheers
