Neil Bowers submitted a patch[1] to dist.ini to add GitHub metadata support to Gtk3's dist.ini. The GithubMeta plugin will look for GitHub URLs in the Git configuration for a repo and use those GitHub URLs when writing Gtk3's metadata files. However, Gtk3 is currently hosted at git.gnome.org, not GitHub, so the URLs should actually be pointing to the gnome.org repo, not GitHub.
Action: Tweak the settings for [GithubMeta] so metadata URLs point to the correct places; for Git, point to the official Git repo on git.gnome.org, for the homepage URL, point to the Sourceforge site.
The GitHub repo https://github.com/cpanxaoc/perl-Gtk3.git is currently a personal workspace, not the authoritative project repo, and I don't see this fact changing at any point in the future.
