Looking at the docs I saw "hereis" but that term was a bit foreign to me but thought it was the same or similar to "heredoc". Looking at the docs more and looking into it more I have found they are the same but I think you might wan to use the term "heredoc" since it seems to be the preferred term in the perl community.
