Subject: Symlinked ~/.dataprinter should be OK
Symlinked config files are common and very useful when using a multi-machine setup.
I agree, I also came across this bug.

My main concern was that the .dataprinter was being eval()'d into the code, which could pose a big security risk. But the new version makes it just a plain config file with no eval(), so symlinks are ok! Again, thank you for submitting this feature request and apologies for the long wait. Cheers! garu
