Run the command locale and send me the output please. This is what I get

Also, I assume you are using the decrypt filter that comes with my module?
If so did you remember to encrypt it first with the encrypt script?
Finally I tried running you script normally (without encrypting it) and it
complains about this line
print "\uwas\uwaldo is \x34\x years old.";
with this error
Illegal hexadecimal digit ' ' ignored at try line 5.
Changing it to this makes that problem go away
print "\uwas\uwaldo is \x34\x years old.";
