Subject: No LICENSE file; different licenses in POD and Makefile.PL
There's no CHANGES or LICENSE file in the ExtUtils::Depends distribution itself. The license in the POD for Depends.pm says LGPL, and the license in the perl-ExtUtils-Depends.spec.in and Makefile.PL files say "same as Perl", so Artistic/GPL1. The other modules I surveyed in Gtk-Perl are all LGPL.

Sorry, that should have read "No LICENSE or COPYING file".

There is a "Changes" file, though, which is the name most Perl-centric modules use. Show quoted text

As far as I can see, the only place that mentions the LGPL is perl-ExtUtils-Depends.spec.in; all other relevant files seem to say "same as perl", most importantly this is the case for lib/ExtUtils/Depends.pm. So I think the statement in perl-ExtUtils-Depends.spec.in is a typo and should be changed.

Changed the license to 'Perl' in the .spec file. Committed as 72888fe3efec3ad1e27332b4a2cf690e82e290de. Resolving ticket.
