Subject: Report the Unicode author name
PAUSE allows CPAN authors to specify both an ASCII name and an Unicode name. For example, my Unicode (and real) name is "Olivier Mengué" while I'm using "Olivier Mengue" as an ASCII fallback. Looking at the code it seems to use 01mailrc.txt.gz that, unfortunately, only contains the ASCII name. MetaCPAN has the proper Unicode name (with regular updates from PAUSE data), so that should probably be a better source. -- Olivier Mengué - http://perlresume.org/DOLMEN

This doesn't seem to be doable until Dist::Zilla improves some of its encoding logic: when I use MetaCPAN::API to fetch the author data, I get: Wide character in subroutine entry at /Users/ether/.perlbrew/libs/19.3@std/lib/perl5/Dist/Zilla/Role/PPI.pm line 24, <DATA> line 10874.
Resolved in version 0.012, thanks to recent Dist::Zilla upgrades.
