CORE is considered the lowest log level (lower than DEBUG). However,
this module outputs them at the INFO level (which is a higher level
than DEBUG) meaning turning on debug logging mandates the CORE logs
coming through.
This should be lowered to be below DEBUG (possibly the built-in TRACE
level).
