I noticed that line 1727 in PDF/API2.pm was removed in PDF/API3/Compat/API2.pm. The missing line follows several commented lines also removed- maybe the baby got thrown out with the bathwater?
$opts{-unicodemap} = 1 unless exists $opts{-unicodemap};
Caused a bit of a problem for me. If intentional, what is the reasoning?
