I believe this bug may have been reported before, although it is
now marked as resolved as of Jun 26 02:35:05 2013.

SOAP:Lite v0.712 (Perl v5.010001) works, returning the fault
string. But SOAP::Lite v1.0 (Perl v5.008005) returns an
undefined SOAP::SOM object. Both systems are RHEL. I also got
v1.0 to fail in exactly the same manner on Mac OS X 10.8.4 (Perl
v5.016003).
I'll apologize for not providing a more concise script, but I
wanted to include all of the odd bits of tweaking that I have to
do to get these requests to work against our Oracle WebLogic
server, just in case they may have any bearing on the problem.
Sample output is appended to the script.
