I'm getting this strange message when I am using the "walk_parts" method:
Illegal Content-Type parameter at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.14.2/Email/MIME.pm line 125
Why? This message is not terribly informative. I can't tell which line
of the original MIME message is causing the problem, nor can I even tell
what specific thing within some Content-Type: MIME header MIME.pm does
not like.
(I am forced to mention also that one dude known as rms often used to
chide people who used the word "illegal" where they arguably should
have used the word "invalid" or "unsupported" instead. He'd often say
"Oh my! It's illegal! Are we going to be arrested for that?? :-)
Regards,
rfg
P.S. Perhaps this is a bug that has been fixed already (?) I am in the
process of updating to the current version of Email::MIME, so I'll try
again when I have done that and see if the message is still there.
P.P.S. I _did_ attempt to attach a copy of the specific piece of e-mail
that I was trying to parse/walk when I got the above error message, however
it was a spam message and it contained a spammed-for URL which CPAN's spam
filters saw and then blocked my mail message. :-(
