Catalyst::Plugin::Email uses Email::Send for sending, but due to it's author "Email::Send is going away..." It uses Return::Value which issues a deprecation warning since version 1.666002. Email::Sender seems to be the appropriate module now. Regards, Noah Kogler

Email-Send was recently removed[1] from Debian's development branch, which makes Catalyst-Plugin-Email fail[2] to build from source, meaning it won't be part of the next Debian release. Dear Maintainer, The Debian perl group is reviewing packages with bugs which make them un-releasable; in particular when they are not heavily used by Debian users. We would like to remove such modules from Debian if we don't think they are likely to be fixed. Catalyst-Plugin-Email is one such distribution, owing to this bug, and we would like to know whether you have any plans to look at the bug in the foreseeable future before we remove the package from Debian. If we don't hear anything we will remove the package from Debian on or around 12th October. This of course does not affect the standing of your module on CPAN. Thank you for maintaining this module so far!

I've released version 0.09 -- the only changes are to documentation and metadata, as the distribution is now deprecated in favour of Email::MIME::Kit or Catalyst::View::Email::Template. You may want to proceed with removing this from your packaging.
