The word "prefered" is used 9 times in PAR/Repository/Client.pm and is included as a part of the method/function prefered_distribution. It seems "preferred" would be preferred spelling of "prefered". It would be feasible to change prefered_distribution to preffered_distribution and then create a new prefered_distribution that just calls to preffered_distribution if this "typo" were to be fixed while keeping compatibility.
