Subject: Decryption fails, as the passphrase is never requested
One approach to solve this decryption failure is to use --use-agent, as suggested in #85102. However, another is to interactively prompt. There should at least be an option to do so. This presumably means removing --no-tty and letting gpg talk to the user, or mediating between the user and gpg.
