Subject: Problem with POE::Component::Client::HTTP

First let me say thanks for writing POE. It makes my programming tasks much easier to accomplish. I am having a problem with POE::Component::Client::HTTP though. By itself it works great. The problem I am having is that when I use it with a program I am writing to connect to the MSN messenger network i start having some problems. Whenever I as much as load the module in the program (use POE::Component::Client::HTTP) I then cannot read anything from the socket. If I don't load the module, then everything works like it should. Good morning, Thomas. Your problem has totally baffled me. Can you provide a short test case that reproduces the error at will? I should be able to track it down from there. Also, which operating system are you using? -- Rocco Caputo - http://poe.perl.org/
