While trying to install on Linux on perl 5.14.2 I got this: CPAN: Storable loaded ok (v2.39) Reading '/home/gabor/.local/share/.cpan/Metadata' Database was generated on Sun, 16 Jun 2013 11:41:03 GMT Running install for module 'Lock::File' Running make for M/MM/MMCLERIC/Lock-File-1.02.tar.gz CPAN: Digest::SHA loaded ok (v5.80) CPAN: Compress::Zlib loaded ok (v2.06) Checksum for /home/gabor/.local/share/.cpan/sources/authors/id/M/MM/MMCLERIC/Lock-File-1.02.tar.gz ok CPAN: Archive::Tar loaded ok (v1.90) /bin/tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword `SCHILY.dev' /bin/tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword `SCHILY.ino' /bin/tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword `SCHILY.nlink' and then these 3 lines repeated several times. tests passed and the modules installed after about 40 such lines. Thanks! This is an issue with incomatibility of bsdtar from OSX and gnutar from Linux. I rebuilt the tarball on Linux and uploaded 1.03.
