Subject: please do not ship debian/ directory in CPAN distribution
Hi, I've packaged Math::PlanePath version 104 for Debian's pkg-perl team. It will be included in unstable and later "jessie" as soon as it gets approved by our FTP masters. To ease future upgrades of libmath-planepath-perl in Debian and prevent possible interference with Debian's packaging, could you please leave the debian/ directory out of the tarball published to CPAN? It's perfectly fine to keep it in your VCS and to continue providing cutting-edge Debian packages via your website, but you'd help us a lot if you could move those lines from MANIFEST to MANIFEST.SKIP. Thanks! Florian

My inclination would be to improve it to be ready for immediate use or nearly so since that would be less work for us both. Or I think in one of my others proposed for the debian archive was done by a dh-make-perl complete replacement of my debian dir. If that gave the right deps and decent text.
