Passing the final argument to descript_options( ... ) as
{ getopt_conf => [ 'nobundling' ] }
had the odd effect of changing the case handling, as well
(effectively, setting ignore_case_always).
I had to explicitly set { getopt_conf => [ 'nobundling',
'ignore_case_disabled' ] }
Additionally, when setting 'nobundling' the single-character options
were still presented as a bundle in the $usage text.
