Subject: Please add a license to Net::Statsd::Server

Hi, Net::Statsd::Server looks very interesting. Please consider adding a license to make it clear how it may be used. The current "unknown" license is equivalent to "all rights reserved" so I am not able to use it at work. Thanks, Ben Martin

Hi Ben, sorry for the super late answer. The license is supposed to be the default license that comes with Perl modules, so the Artistic License. I'm not sure why the "unknown" which I assume is displayed on search.cpan.org or metacpan.org. Right? -- Cosimo

I'm not sure how it's implemented, but the Net-Statsd client page: https://metacpan.org/release/Net-Statsd Clearly says "licence: perl_5". I assume it was an oversight, but our lawyers are picky since we make our living selling software. Thanks, Ben Show quoted text

I finally understood why the license wasn't recognized correctly. I had some pre-generated Makefile.PL file in there, which prevented dzil to generate its own. Now fixed, and pushed to CPAN as Net::Statsd::Server 0.13.
