Subject: | cpan shebang incompatible with Git Bash |
The shebang supplied with starberryperl/bin/cpan doesn't work with Git Bash:
$ head `which cpan`
#!/usr/local/bin/perl
use 5.006;
use strict;
use vars qw($VERSION);
use App::Cpan;
$VERSION = '1.5902';
my $rc = App::Cpan->run( @ARGV );
$ cpan
bash.exe: /c/strawberry/perl/bin/cpan: /usr/local/bin/perl: bad interpreter: No
such file or directory
Correcting the shebang to "#!/usr/bin/env perl" fixes this problem.
$ cpan
