Subject: Can't build module due to invalid parsing 'rpm --version' output
Can't build module due to invalid parsing 'rpm --version' output. You parse 'rpm --version' output and rely on regexp /version ([0-9.]+)$/, but it's correct in cases, when LC_ALL=C. If user has another locale, he can't build this module.

I've work in progress to rely on pkg-config instead
