Hi MAKOTO, File::stat is a core module. File::Stat conflicts with File::stat on case-independent file systems such as FAT, NTFS (Windows)... Could you either remove this module from the CPAN (you can delete it from your PAUSE account) or republish it under a new name without conflict, such as File::Stat::Object? Hola, It seems the author is unresponsive and I was just bitten by a bug related to this module (my own fault, since I was using it), but anyway - I would like to take over maintenance under the proposed namespace if this could get things moving - the interface proposed by MAKOTO is quite nice and the reason why I chose it. jonasbn
