Dear HTML::Diff maintainer ("ezrakilty"):
First, thanks for this fabulously useful tool! It's been a life saver
for us (and we're in the business of saving lives :-).
We are using the HTML::Diff module to compare HTML renditions of our
XML source files for medical-device documentation. It's the only way
we've found to get decent, "WYSIWYG"-ish comparisons (despite the many
advertised tools that claim to do this).
The problem we've encountered is that fairly often the comparison
"loses its mind" and reports everything after a certain point as being
different, even when it's identical.
The attached "BugReport.7z" 7-Zip package contains a description of
the problem, sample inputs, outputs, diagnostic data, and annotated
screen caps of the issues. Feel free to email or ring me if you have
any questions or want more information.
Regards,
Howard
