Many applications (Gimp, Imagemagick etc.) are now creating bitmaps with the v5 header. Currently it looks like Image::BMP only supports v3. Would it be possible to up this to v5? I suspect it would require removing the hardcoded 40 numbers and using the supplied header size. The additional header fields could be ignored. David
