this is not a typo. lib/Error/Simple.pm was written from scratch by some
of the module's new maintainers, and was placed under the MIT/X11
licence in order to avoid the problematic licensing of dual GPLv1+ and
Artistic (see

), and people may use it under these terms. The rest of the
distribution's contents however (and the distribution as a whole) is
still under GPLv1-and-above or Artistic 1.0. This was clarified in
Error-0.17019 which was just uploaded to the CPAN.
So it's safe to put the entire perl-Error distribution under
GPLv1+-and-artistic.
