The file foo.pod below displays as
foo bold
B<more bold>
where I expected something like
foo bold
more bold
I believe leading whitespace on a line in the middle of a paragraph is
not "verbatim", but should have markup interpreted.
I struck this in perlrun.pod of perl 5.14.2 which has such indentation
in the middle of its =head1 SYNOPSIS.
Does PodView.pm crunch the pod itself? You might like one of the pod
parsers to handle input oddities. I recently did one with Pod::Simple.
The earlier Pod::Parser is also good. Pod::Simple has the advantage
that you can give it input lines progressively, it doesn't have to read
a whole document in one call.
Incidentally, verbatim seems to display double-width like an extra space
between each character for me. Dunno if that's fonts or something.
